Lesbian and Gay Rights
The former president Robert Mugabe once said, " homosexuals are worse than pigs and dogs and they are not African". Since the independence of Zimbabwe, lesbian and gay rights in Zimbabwe have been thrown out the window by the government and by law, illegal. Homosexuals have been living in fear of the government and the public of being identified and has led to most of them not getting the health advice they need and hence the spread the HIV. Even if the old regime has a new leader, Mnagagwa made it clear that, "in our constitution it is banned and it is my duty to obey the constitution". The international community should condemn Zimbabwe for Lesbian and gay rights abuses.
